I ordered the barbacoa bowl, it was good but I didn't think it was anything particularly special. I did enjoy the tortilla chips, they have a lemony pepper taste to them. The salsa was good as well but they only gave me a tiny little dish of it. One thing I didn't enjoy was the fact the music here was so loud, they play club type music. Might be fine later on in the evening but I was there around 5:00 p.m. on a Sunday and it was just annoying.

Don't believe your GPS. It's not in the Lowe's, it's across the parking lot. A friend and I met here because it's between our homes. We had meandered around the arboretum and got hungry. We sat out on the enclosed patio on a sunny late winter Thursday evening. Davíde helped us thru the menu (they offer ceviche and aquachiles, which apparently are much spicier.) We chose the Tropical Lime Shrimp ceviche, and it was delightful. I had a house marg, my companion had a Modelo Negra. Chips and salsa were on point. Service was attentive but never worrisome. Trés leches cake, shared, ended the meal on a sweet and happy note. Highly recommended, even with birthday celebrations.

I've always wanted to try this place. Yesterday was the perfect opportunity. Came here for lunch and it's so cute and relaxing inside. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I decided to sit outside. They have a lot of plants outside and it's screened in to keep the bugs out. The menu is simple but the prices are a little pricy. They didn't have a lunch menu or lunch prices....so I spent $45 on two items including tip. That's a lot considering it was during lunch. The food was hot and really good. Service was cool I am not sure if I'll come back because I am cheap.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Friday and it was not crowded at all. I mention that because I was starving and was grateful that we didn't have to wait long. Someone immediately sat us down to a table. A nice waiter came and took our drink orders. The music along with decor had me in there doing a little shake while I was looking at the menu. There were so many things I wanted to try. I decided to get the ACP with Al pastor as a protein. Omg! It did not disappoint. The meat was tender and full of flavor. One of my friends got the vegetarian bowl and even that looked so delicious! The portions were more than enough for lunch. I will visit again because they have a beautiful outside area that was decorated nicely as well.

If you want Fun go little later and they turn up the music, turn down the lights and it is like being in a club. Birthdays look like fun and you should atleast once get a drink. The Michelada was huge and added lime, cucumber and sauce. The FUNDIDO was good, and chunky for those that like onions and peppers. I tried something different and got something that was not on the online menu but was like a TORTA, bun dipped in red sauce and had chorizo and inside. The were plenty of fries and they were well seasoned. The staff is outstanding and very friendly accommodating my Son and My addiction to lots of salsa. The place was packed but we enjoyed sitting at the Bar and watching drinks being made and bartender entertaining us. This is must do experience.

Yummy food! and even more yummy drinks! Love coming here for the weekend with friends the ambiance is great for late night drinks. The michelada wasnt my fav however the margaritas are for sure the best. De la casa is the perfect marg. This place reminds me a lot of their sister restaurant mezcalito!

Today was first time visiting Cielito in Burlington. I drive by it all the time as I am in the area for work. It was so good! I loved the serve your own salsa bar. I ordered the five taco platter with beans and rice. The meat and flavor in each taco was divine. My favorite was the chorizo! It was delicious and had a perfect texture. Everything paired well with a Modelo and lime. Be sure to save room for dessert as the Tres Leches cake is to die for! Plus the outside patio is perfect on a nice summer day. Don't miss it!

We were in Burlington and looking for something to eat. We saw the positive reviews at Cielito and decided to stop in. My wife has always been a huge fan of Mexican food. I like it as well although it is not always my first choice. We pulled in the parking lot and saw they are located at the end of a small strip mall and in front of the Lowe's Home Improvement store. This was perfect for us because we needed to stop in there as well. On the end of the building we could see a nice outdoor seating area complete with plants and decorations. We entered the building and saw the sign stating they would seat us. The young lady began walking us to the outdoor area but because it was pretty hot outside, we told her we would prefer to sit inside. She chose a vacant booth and provided us menus. Our server stopped and brought us waters as well as a small basket of chips and salsa. We also placed our orders. My wife chose the Ultimate fajitas (steak, chicken and shrimp) with double rice and flour tortillas. I chose the birria pizza, I've heard of birria pizza and was anxious to try it. The chips and salsa were delicious. So delicious in fact that we asked for another dish of salsa because we were really piling it on the warm chips. YUM. The fajitas came out very quickly and were sizzling and huge! In fact, they could easily be shared by two people. My birria pizza arrived a couple minutes later and was also huge. I am normally a traditional pizza connoisseur with red tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni and other meats on a pizza crust. This appeared similar with the birria and cilantro on top but there wasn't much sauce. I couldn't taste the sauce or really see it. We both enjoyed our meals and would recommend both items. However, many of the menu prices for other items we saw (food and cocktails) seemed rather expensive when compared with other Mexican restaurants in the Triad. We both agreed we would have rather had smaller portions of the items we ordered with a smaller price tag.
